Serving the community
LCCS and its students are known for taking part in community movements. LCCS played a real part in the world-record-breaking Green Legacy tree-planting movement. We have joined charities and fundraisers for people displaced by war in northern Ethiopia, and every year students donate toward the completion of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam. Student-led charity clubs such as Faith In Action, Cathe Covidient, Cathe Cardiac and Agape raise funds for causes from feeding the homeless to treating children with heart disease. Our students don't stop at money: they clean the school compound, take part in networking events and organize gratitude events.

Sport
Friday is basketball
LCCS is not just academic. One of the things everyone knows LCCS for is basketball. Under the strict supervision of our coach, Daniel, students find their passion for the game and hone their skills to the fullest; many players from our A team have gone on to play professionally. Friday lunchtime is dedicated to basketball: Grade 12's A team against Grade 11's, LCCS A against B, another school, or even LCCS alumni. Whoever the opponent, the LCCS community never misses the game.
