Hasset Dereje, Miss World Ethiopia 2024 and an LCCS alumna, returned to Lideta Catholic Cathedral School as a guest speaker, invited by the Derash Club and the Avidix Club.
"From being Miss Ethiopia in grade 12 to now representing Ethiopia as Miss World Ethiopia 2024, returning to my old high school as a guest speaker was truly a full-circle moment," she said. She shared her journey with students and raised awareness about spina bifida and hydrocephalus.
"Thank you, Lideta Catholic Cathedral School, for making this dream come true!"
